Trump pouring gasoline on climate change fire
It’s always risky to predict historical judgments. Truman fares better than people at the time might have predicted. But most predicted right on Washington and Lincoln. And Buchanan. The Trump presidency has only had seven months. We already know that it will be judged as one of the worst – we just don’t know how much worse it will get. Perhaps Trump will remove himself, or be removed by a brave Republican Congress. If that would happen soon, the damage could be mitigated.

Yemen's man-made cholera crisis is now the worst outbreak on record
The cholera outbreak in Yemen is set to become the largest epidemic since records began, British charity Oxfam has said. Yemen descended into a full-blown civil war in March 2015, and has been suffering from a cholera epidemic since March of this year. Charities had already warned the crisis is the fasting-growing cholera epidemic in history, and have said the number of cases will soon overtake the total of 754,373 cases recorded in the aftermath of Haiti’s 2010 earthquake. Experts believe it will hit a million by November.

Nestlé pays $200 a year to bottle water near Flint – where water is undrinkable
Gina Luster bathed her child in lukewarm bottled water, emptied bottle by bottle into the tub, for months. It became a game for her seven-year-old daughter. Pop the top off a bottle, and pour it into the tub. It takes about 30 minutes for a child to fill a tub this way. Pop the top, pour it in; pop the top, pour it in. Maybe less if you can get gallon jugs.

Archaeologists Find Lost Ancient Greek Temple Of Goddess Artemis
It took more than 100 years of searching but archaeologists have finally found a lost temple to the ancient Greek goddess Artemis. The Greek Ministry of Culture reported that a team has found the remains of the sanctuary near Amarynthos, a coastal town a couple of dozen miles northeast of Athens on the large Greek island of Euboea. Scientists and historians have spent more than a century looking for what is left of the temple, but an ancient text with inaccurate directions threw them off the trail.
