Apple co-founder Steve Jobs will be posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the country’s highest civilian honor, the White House said on Friday. Jobs, who revolutionized the world 15 years ago this week when the first iPhone went on sale, will be honored along with sixteen other Americans for his contributions to the country.
