Woman dead and teen in custody after horror Melbourne crash

A woman has been killed and a teenager is in custody after a horror crash left a mini-van sliced open on a Melbourne freeway. Police tried to intercept the allegedy stolen van on the Western Highway just after 2.30pm on Tuesday, but the driver failed to stop. The mini-van then collided with two trucks in Ballan and the female passenger of the allegedly stolen vehicle was killed on impact.
