À la carte TV is the idea that you would pay for just the TV channels you want. Now in Maine, there is a bill that would force cable companies to offer a service that would do just that. The bill was proposed in the State House by Independent Representative Jeffrey Evangelos. “For instance, I want NESN. I want to watch the Red Sox, but I don’t want to watch Jimmy Swaggert, so I shouldn’t be forced to pay for that,” Evangelos said.
