Tofu Sales Boom By 82 Percent During Coronavirus Lockdown

Figures show that sales of tofu grew by almost 82 percent in the UK during the coronavirus lockdown. Consumer insight company Kantar Worldpanel investigated the boom in plant-based eating, and discovered the rising interest in tofu. In line with this growing trend, a number of UK supermarkets have reported an increase in sales for vegan meat substitutes.
