Virginia Beach woman's Bible was overlooked by "Antiques Roadshow," but now lives at the Smithsonian

In 2009, Wendy Creekmore-Porter took a bible to a taping of "Antiques Roadshow.: The Bible, in her family for generations, was said to have belonged to Nat Turner, leader of the deadliest slave uprising in U.S. history. The story is remarkable; at least, Creekmore-Porter and her family thought so. But the show wasn’t interested. “They sent me on my merry way. That was it,” Creekmore-Porter recalled.
