Maybe no one asked the truck drivers, but their industry association and the federal government agree: Trucks and buses need to slow down. A new proposal released Friday requires that all new trucks, buses, and passenger vehicles weighing more than 26,000 pounds have speed limiters to prevent them from exceeding somewhere between 60 and 68 mph, as reported on The Verge.
