Number of coronavirus recoveries hits 1 million mark worldwide

The number of coronavirus recoveries worldwide has topped one million. According to figures published by Johns Hopkins University, the number of people who have recovered from the virus stood at 1,014,916 on Friday.The highest number is in the United States, at 153,947, followed by Germany with 123,500 recoveries.
