Ethnicity still matters in the politics of 2016

We're encouraged to believe ethnicity doesn't matter much any more; only race does. But ethnicity explains more about the primary results thus far. This is the implicit assumption behind the analyses that divide the electorate into four racial categories: whites, blacks, Hispanics and Asians.
